Sacom announced that the international cooperation project called Poch Art Eurostars has been admitted to the benefits pursuant to art. 7 of the Decree . 593 August 2000 (hereinafter “Decree in August 2000”).

The project was presented by the subsidiary Sacom Lab SpA as leader as well as the Institute for Plant Protection of the National Research Council (hereinafter “CNR” ) and the Portuguese Clamitec Myco Solution LDA (hereinafter “CLAM” ) as partners (collectively, “Consortium”) .

The Poch Art project on the “improvement of microbiological products for crops sustainable management” is set up as a research and development out of the Eurostars Programme sponsored by the European Commission (which provides for the granting of subsidies for the projects put forward by the small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to the European Union countries ) and regulated at national level , by the Decree in August 2000 in the detailed procedural rules for the granting of concessions themselves.

The project aims to improve industrial (“green economy” based) of microbiological products for sustainable agriculture , based on beneficial fungi and bacteria that promote plant growth, and aims to improve an emerging line of concealers/ground and cleansers of plant protection products already marketed by Sacom Lab SpA.

The  Poch Art project, introduced by Eureka on March 1st, 2012, provides for a term of 36 months starting from September 1st, 2012. The total investment for the construction of the project, which will be realized by the entire Consortium, amounts to Euro 1.2 million.

The amount of total costs eligible for concessions on the part of the sole Sacom Lab SpA , considered adequate and relevant after examining the investigation conducted by BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, amounted to Euro 0.8 million and will cover all the items relating to industrial research.

This amount will be subsidized to the extent of 50% in the form of contribution to the cost. The Ministry of Education, with subsequent communication, provides BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, for the purpose of entering into the loan agreement, the allocation for each proponent of the eligible cost and its share of contribution.
